My name is Vagram and I am a currency trader. I've been trading Forex since 2004. When I understood how challenging is this job, I decided to become a professional in this industry. I researched a conception and structure of Forex market in my Diploma paper. And it was a beginning point of my career. I've read a huge bunch of books on FX trading over the past couple of years. At first, I preferred books on technical analysis and strategies. Now I find these books useless. I'd suggest you to read only books which are dedicated to market philosophy, trading stories and outstanding traders.
After university, I worked as a Forex consultant in a local FX company in Riga. I helped clients with their questions on Forex and solved different technical problems. I met many traders and saw how they trade. Almost 99,9% of traders had a very poor performance. Later I was promoted to FX analyst position and then to company's branch CEO. I arranged more than 30 Forex seminars in Riga and Moscow and participated in ForexExpo Show in 2006. I've been publishing my web-blog since September 2006.
2007 was a year to go to a new level of my career and I started to work for Interbank dealer. I was proud to publish a book as a co-author. The experience I gained during these years was quite unique. I am still very happy to work in a new team which is one of the leading companies in the Forex industry.
I've enrolled to take CFA Level 1 exams in 2008. The CFA designation will be my primary objective for the nearest 3-5 years. I am pretty satisfied with this challenge. The CFA designation is seen as the key certification for investment professionals which sets the global standard for investment knowledge, standards, and ethics.
My publications:
1) Diploma "EURUSD research and analysis"
2) Seminar "Forex trading systems", 2006.
3) Seminar "Geometry of Forex market", 2006.
4) Book "How to profit trading Forex", Alpina, 2007.
